The redesigned Uno range of units are independently powered with a diesel engine, and available in various capacities to efficiently transport temperature-controlled products in medium to heavy trucks. The Uno features Zanotti’s innovative direct coupling design between the engine and the compressor, and utilize Daikin’s expertise in design for reliability and performance. Their high cooling performance, energy efficiency and extended maintenance intervals minimize the total cost of ownership, while meeting the most stringent emission, material waste, and noise pollution regulations.

Diesel Truck Reefers

The U600, U800, and U1000 are designed as nose-mount reefers, installed on the front wall of the box. The electronics enable advanced diagnostics. A robust user interface is installed in the vehicle DIN slot or mounted on the dash, allowing real-time monitoring and control of unit performance to ensure goods are maintained at precisely the right temperature throughout the trip.

The Uno Range offers a variety of improvements including a more powerful and precise microprocessor. This provides a more efficient analysis of all operating parameters. In addition to an updated microprocessor, we’ve significantly reduced the noise level produced by the condenser fans. We’ve also had the model undergo rigorous testing, demonstrating that maintenance requirements extend well beyond 2,000 hours of continuous use. This significantly reduces operating costs. All models come standard with an in-cab control system. This allows the driver to seamlessly control the temperature with the use of only a few buttons. It has an easy to use to interface with a password protecting options.

Yanmar Diesel Engine

Powering the road operation is a reliable 3 Cylinder Yanmar diesel engine, with an oversized oil filter and custom designed oil sump to extend the maintenance interval to 2000 working hours

Copeland Electric Compressor

Shift into ultra quiet standby operation to pre-cool you truck or store your cargo while idle by utilizing the machines electric compressor. The proven Copeland ZF scroll compressor has mechanical liquid injection valve to protect the component against excessive heat.

Real-time Operational feedback

Re-engineered from heavy-duty bulldozer controls, the controller enable the operator to customize the operation of the reefer. Additionally feedback from one of the many sensors and transducers throughout the system provide technicians with key operational data and a significant head start identifying solutions.

Beltless Transmission Design

Adopted from the design of long-haul tractor trailer reefers, the road compressor is directly coupled to the diesel engine. This mechanical joint increases the equipment up-time and eliminates potential failures from a clutch or belt driven design.
